Full Job Description
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in spooling and stranding wire rope, and swaging fittings onto rope slings: Sets up spooling, stranding, closing, and swaging machines. Trains workers in operation of machines. Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR (any industry) Master Title. May be designated according to activity of workers supervised as Closing Supervisor (metal prod., nec); Inspection Supervisor (metal prod., nec; nonfer. metal); Splicing Supervisor (metal prod., nec); Spooling Supervisor (metal prod., nec); Stranding Supervisor (metal prod., nec); Swaging-And-Plastic Supervisor (metal prod., nec).
